pg_loopen — Opens a large object descriptor.

Synopsis

int pg_loopen(conn, oid, mode);
int conn: Connection ID
int oid: Object identifier
string mode: Object mode

Returns

File descriptor

Description

Opens an inversion large object using an object identifier (OID) from pg_locreate() or from an existing record on a specified database connection, and returns a file descriptor. The file descriptor can then be passed to other functions for manipulation. The mode is 'r' (read), 'w' (write), or 'rw' (read and write).
