install page error
error: Can't write connexion template.
This is the error I get, right under the word Installation after I complete all fields, ie. username=*, password=*, dbname=*, host=localhost, table prefix=tbName (not sure if that is usable), port & sock left blank. Basically the page just stays the same and the error gets written underneath the word Installation. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Dave. |

Very well. I'm ok.
I back checked and found that in fact though I thought I went through the install instructions fully, I hadn't. I didn't chmod the install dir nor did I chmod connect.php, both to 777. Now it works. Thanks everyone. |

Glad to see that you got phpdig up and running.
For anyone who might be reading this thread, it's worthy of saying again that there are Quick Installation Instructions in the phpgid documentation. Anytime you have trouble installing or setting up this software, you'd do well to read (or re-read) this page. Hope it helps. |
