Running phpdig
Okay, after finding out my host company will not adjust the php.ini file for the script cutoff time (90 seconds), I still need to work a way to completely index my site, so here is my question to those who know php... since I don't.
I have the exact same structure of my site, including all files on my laptop (I always backup numerous times). Is it possible to run phpdig on a local pc, complete an index, and then transfer the data to the website? I'm running a Intel Centrino Dual with 2 gigs of ram, have a 120 gig HD, and Windows Vista. Okay... that's the challenge, and I'm hoping the knowledge exists somewhere to help me out. If we can accomplish this, then I can pass the info to others who are using Yahoo web hosting, and skirt the script cutoff issue. Thanks in advance! Chuck |
