Looks Like A Small Bug In 1.8.1

I'm getting a strange display here. Notice that with some URL descriptions, it seems to stop where there is a period in the description. However, the third item in the results list displays exactly as it should.

Here's what I have in my config.php file:
PHP Code:
define('DISPLAY_SNIPPETS',false);
define('DISPLAY_SNIPPETS_NUM',4);
define('DISPLAY_SUMMARY',true);

Hi. If you are not saving the text to *.txt files in the text_content directory, then the description part works differently. Not sure what way you are doing it???

There are a whole bunch of .txt files in that directory right now.

Um, did I need to re-spider after making the 1.8.1 changes?

Hi. It shouldn't be necessary to respider, but maybe something got out of sync, but then again, maybe not. I don't have enough info yet to advise you. Can you provide any further details?

Well, I made changes to ABSOLUTE_SCRIPT_PATH and the $template definition, to point to where I have phpdig in production. (That's besides the changes to snippets vs. summary I mentioned earlier). Then I copied those two new files (config.php and connect.php) up to my production folder.

I'm not sure what other kind of detail you're looking for.

Hi. Can you do a test install in a new directory, and just crawl a few pages and see if the problem persists?

I just realized what the problem was! I was using the new connect.php file alright, but I was still pointing to my test database. Duh!

User error will get you every time.
