Dictionary or something more complex?
I've read the Dictionary thread.
But i saw some engine, that do this: When you search worked It founds: worked: 234 entries +-working 120 entries +-work 200 entries When you search article Automaticaly it find Art. and all it's abbreviations When you search 1th November, 2003 Automaticaly it find 1/11/2003 , 11/1/2003 , 1th Nov. 2003 and so. So, I'm thinking in anothrer table with realtions between common words ( verbs conjubation, abreviations, .... ) Any idea? |

Yes, this is a cool idea, but it doesn't work with my idea of soundex() or other PHP-Functions (See here).
I think this Searchengine needs an extern dictionary. Do you have a Link or example ? -Roland- Last edited by Rolandks; 11-07-2003 at 02:30 AM. |
