Installation issue... again
hi, i'm totally confused. have read the forums in and out, but still can't figure out the installation process.
I have managed to get to database crertion with PHPDIG_ADM_AUTH','0' thingy, but now i get "can't connect, Verify connection datas. " msg. I'm using all the default values in the input fields... Also as i understand, connect.php is created on the fly by PHP script, but there is no such file on my server folder. thanks |

I don't know if I can help, but I'll certainly try. Here are some questions, in no particular order of importance:
Are you sure that your database name you have defined in phpdig agrees with the way it's defined on your web server? Are your phpdig tables defined? Are the proper folder permissions set? Does your phpdig database have a prefix like your account name? For example, some people who are on shared servers have database names like username_phpdigdb. You said you're bypassing the authorization routine, so I don't think that's the source of your problem. |
