Spidering from shell - returns immediately, with nothing
Hi,
I'm calling spider.php from the shell, like this 1) I cd to the admin directory 2) php -f spider.php http://mysite.com The script returns immediately. A previous thread suggested that I needed to check my db connection variables; these are all fine (and I can run phpdig from the web interface no problem). I know the php is ok, because I have run other php scripts in this manner, both from shell and as cron jobs. I'm using version 1.8.7. Any ideas ? Thanks Ciaran, Dublin, Ireland |

My Mistake
Hmmm, the problem was that I had an unnoticed space in my relative path variable in the config file. What a waste of a day and a bit...
