HTTPS Support

Hi,

I've had a lot of trouble trying to get phpDig working on a secured website. I finally fixed the problem but after having studied deeper robot_functions.php, it seems that phpDig is absolutely not intended to work with https.

So before trying to submit a patch, I was wondering if it was meant by the development team not to support it or if it was a lack of time?

I'm new to phpDig so maybe my question is stupid, but is a features list, a roadmap or a bug tracker that could give me a reason why HTTPS is not fully supported?
