DISPLAY_SNIPPETS & DISPLAY_SUMMARY problem

Hi,

I've a newbie to this this so go easy! I think I'm not understanding something about snippets and summary: I thought the summary was the meta description of the page and snippets were text from the page itself. I've got snippets set to false and summary set to true (and append_meta_title set to true) and it's showing text from the page not the meta-description. (All pages have one btw).

Try searching for 'undergraduate' here: http://www.intercambio.info/new_site/sitemap.html (only page with search implemented).

I've tried re-spidering but I can't find a solution. Sorry if it's something blindingly obvious but I've read the docs and still don't get it.

Any help appreciated.
