exclude specific directory from searching

Hi,

I´ve got a financial website which has some sub-directories that must not be searched because their contents are secret. For some other reasons it is not possible to protect them by .htaccess files.

Does anybody know how to exclude this directorys form searching. The structure is like : root/secret1

Please help me.

thx.

Hi. Perhaps try one of the following: set some sort of password system, use a robots.txt file, or if the content was indexed, exclude it from the admin panel.
