Permissions when running phpdig from shell !
hi all
I'm trying to setup phpdig to index all *.doc, *.ppt, *.xls, *.pdf files on our Samba server. (it is also a web server but the file server is not currently accessible via a web root) is it possible for phpdig to index the file server for the file types since the file server with the files and phpdig are installed on the same host ? that said, i can easily create a few sym links from a web root on the host that point to the samba files but i would assume permission's would be an issue as a lot of files are owned by non "nobody" users. am i making any sense ? |
