Can PhpDig index OpenOffice Docs?
Is there a way to index OpenOffice documents? Is the method that is used with indexing PDF and MS-Word docs, using an external program able to be extended to do this?

Hi. The phpdigTestUrl function would need to be edited to set the Content-Type status for these OpenOffice documents. The phpdigTempFile function would need to be edited to account for these new Content-Types, using new defined variables from the config file if wanted, and there would need to be external programs for conversion to text. There may be other changes needed, but that's all I can think of now. Here's a page that lists the different Content-Types for OpenOffice.
