How to optomize PHPDIG?
how can i optomize PHPDIG?
As you can see I have quite a few pages indexed. Sometimes queries take several seconds. For example Results 1-10, 784 total, on "Faith Evangelical Lutheran Seminary" (130 seconds) Results 1-10, 784 total, on "Faith Evangelical Lutheran Seminary" (2.53 seconds) Results 1-10, 784 total, on "Faith Evangelical Lutheran Seminary" (3.57 seconds) As you can see the MYSQL query cache dramatically cuts down the time for subsequent queries. Any ideas? Leonard www.luthersearch.com Hosts : 180 Entries Pages : 20166 Entries Index : 5164857 Entries Keywords : 273372 Entries Temporary table : 5854 Entries |

What kind of server is your site on? If it's a Windows server, Windows doesn't play very nice with phpdig. If it's anything else, I couldn't tell you what the problem might be.

Hi Leonard, I just hopped across to your web site and the same search took 1.55 seconds.
Have you tried to clean your index and common word listings using the admin panel, I have found that this makes things run quicker. Your engine seems to be quite fast for me and the results are good. All the best Dave A |
