xls doc pdf with windows
hello,
can i spider .xls, .doc and/or .pdf files withe os windows or only with linux? sorry for my english

Hi. Yes, there are users who can spider .xls, .doc and/or .pdf files under Windows. You need to get programs such as xls2csv, catdoc, and pstotext, compile them, and set the constants in the config.php file. Section 3.3 here has links to such programs.
