Server Resources problems
Hi,
I have phpdig 1.6.5 installed on my server, it has a index of 70,000 documents and its currently taking up too much server resources , upto 50% and laging the whole system. I was wonder, is there a way to optimize it? Thanks in advance. |

Hi. I haven't used it, but you might want to try afterBURNER*Cache. If you implement it, let me know how it goes. I'd be interested in performance changes.

Hi. If afterBURNER*Cache or some such program is not a viable option, then you might try checking into what it would take to go dedicated or set up a cluster of servers, none of which I have personally tried with PhpDig so I cannot give a fail-safe solution.
