Indexing Password Protected pages (using session variables)
Hi,
I've been reading all the threads about indexing password protected sites and tried all the suggestions however it still doesn't work. The site is not protected using .htaccess however it is done using PHP and session variables. The reason is that I wanted the different users to set their own passwords, set different access levels (some users can view some and not other pages on the site). So no I have problems indexing my site using phpdig. I tried setting the session variable in the PhpDig scripts and it is not working. Then I tried the check on the Server Variable from within my pages such as USER_AGENT and that doesn't work either. Any one have another idea to what I can try? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Anette |
