catdoc not indexing all files

I am running phpdig 1.8.8, indexing doc files with catdoc. It seems to be indexing some doc files in the hierarchy, but not others (also docs), possibly ones with commas in the files names?

I see that the log option is set - where does phpdig write the log, and will it give me details of any failures?

Ok, looks like the problem is files with spaces in the filename. Does that make sense?

Any idea how we fix it?
