Understanding "pstotxt3"

I have successfully installed "pstotxt3" (I hope). When I spider the site everything completes and looks fine. When I try the search engine to test it I search for some text inside the .PDF documents but the search always says that it didn't find anything. Is this correct?

I tried the demo 1.6.2 and searched for text inside the L'Avare PDF and it seemed to find it OK. Have I done something wrong?

PHP version is 4.3.3
OS is NT4.0 with latest service packs

Hi. It sounds like maybe this thread might fix the problem.

Edit: The external binary process has been modified since PhpDig version 1.6.2.
