Cannot Spider/Index
Hello, I am using Dig for the first time and I must say the setup/installation was quick and painless. However now that I am trying to use the application I am experiencing some pain.
After entering the desired URI into the field box and trying to 'Dig it' I either get one of two messages... Spidering in progress... [Stop spider] SITE : http://URI/ Exclude paths : - @NONE@ Wait... this one will just sit for as long as I leave it on the screen. notice in the bottom left corner of the browser says 'Done' and I end up having to click the 'stop spider' link. the other message I get if I don't get the first one is... Spidering in progress... [Stop spider] Optimizing tables... Indexing complete ! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Back] to admin interface. good to see that it worked but it found nothing. I am using PHP 5.2 and MYSQL 5.0, safe_mode is set to 'OFF' and allow_url_fopen is set to 'ON' any help would be greatly appreciated. |
