The search box worked wonderfully! As for the custom template, I had to resort to hard-coding all the hyperlinks in full (instead of putting the relative links) so that the pictures appear. It's hardly elegant
but we'll definitely find a way as my PHP knowledge improves in time. If you want to see my work-in-progress:
