limit to a subfolder and below
Read first this post:
http://www.phpdig.net/forum/showthre...imit+directory Actually there is not an ALLOW_SUBDIRECTORY variable in Config.php in the PHPDig 1.8.8 I have downloaded, neither in spider.php neither in robot_functions.php. The fix in this post only let you limit to a unique subdirectory. I'd like (I think We'd like) limit to various subfolders independently. This is a useful utility for PHPDig that I think everybody wants. But I understand that is hard to make the changes, because I've seen that PHPDig is oriented to diferent domains, but not diferent domains-and-subfolders. It only differenciates sites. The way to have this feature is having in sites table the subfolder too and checking it. I know this must mean a lot of work. In the other side, in the search results page, when I click in "limit to" to limit search to a subdirectory, what I mean, what I want, and I think what everybody wants is that limits to that subfolder and below. If some day it will be implemented, I would be very happy because is one of the problems I have in my web site. A lot of thanks for listen (reading) to me. |
