I'm really new to PhpDig, so please forgive any repetitive questions:

Last night I indexed our web site (actually it didn't quite finish - 16 hours later the spider was still going), so I killed it, and unlocked the site, and went into the admin panel, and chose "Update Form".

I picked the parts of the website I wanted to exclude from future searches and clicked the red circle with the bar through it on all of them. Then I clicked the green arrow in the root of the site. I got:

Exclude paths :
- @NONE@
- developers/
- developers/community/forums/
- lps/
- lps-2.0/docs/lzx-developers-guide/

Does this mean that those sections will now be deleted from the current index, or will everything that got indexed on the first round remain there?

Hi. When the spider is prematurely stopped, there may be rows left in the tempsider table awaiting index. To delete these rows, click the delete button without selecting a site. Once the temporary table shows zero entries, a reindex should exclude those paths.
